About Us
Who are we?
We are a small fellowship in Cathcart – a group of ordinary people who come together to share faith and hope in Jesus.
With the help of God’s Spirit, we seek to share the Good News of Jesus Christ through worship, prayer, caring and teaching within our Church family and through outreach into our community and beyond. Wherever possible this outreach is done in partnership with other local churches.

Exploring, Growing, and Serving Together
Beyond our regular activities, we’re always exploring new ways to grow together in Christ, serve the community, and share Jesus’ love. In the past, we’ve run events—sometimes in partnership with other organizations—such as Christianity Explored, Discipleship Explored, Word121, Cathcart UF Prayer Days, Worldwide Mission Days (involving e.g. OpenDoors, Release International, OMF), the Annual Tearfund Quiz, and Garden Parties. We’re always reflecting and open to new ideas, so watch this space!
3 communities - a shared story - open to love, hope and joy
We have been part of the Cathcart churches community with Cathcart Church of Scotland and Cathcart Baptist Church since 2007 – working together across worship, fellowship, young people’s activities and community activities.
We are always excited to explore and see how we can go forward together!
Looking ahead ...
Following the retirement of Wilma Pearson, we are working towards a ministry appointment. In the meantime we continue to worship and serve as a congregation in the community. We are led by the Session and John Fulton, our Interim Moderator.
For our Sunday Services we are fortunate to have a small team of visiting preachers along with our elders.
We continue to have a focus on prayer and outreach, working alongside other local churches in Cathcart.
We believe God has plans for his Church locally as well as across Scotland and beyond and want to discover the part He has for us to play in our community and further afield – we hope you will join us on this journey as God leads us forward at this time!
